World Class Fitness in 100 words:
Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.
CrossFit is fundamentally about being better. Moving better, being stronger, healthier and being able to express your fitness in as many different ways as possible. The ultimate goal of CrossFit is to prepare you for life, for the unknown and unknowable events that happen every day. Specialist sportsmen and women know what their “game day” looks like; the rest of us, in our daily lives, don’t. The broad and inclusive nature of CrossFit best prepares us for what we don’t know.
At CrossFit Fearnaught you will find a thriving community. The other athletes that you train with are both friends and cheerleaders. The more we work together, encourage each other and push each other forward, the better the results and the more enjoyment you will get.
We ask only a few things from you when you get to the box for your WOD:
