Head Coach
Sam
Sam is Head Coach at FearNaught and author of our in-house training program. A keen endurance athlete, Sam has completed multiple events including Ironman Bolton and the Jurassic coast 100 mile ultra, as well as competing in CrossFitcontests.
Sam is always looking for his next challenge, most recently taking up his place on an Ice Hockey team, and being one of only 6 to complete a brutal weekend training camp run by ex-SAS trainers. He is a strong believer in enabling everyone to pursue fitness, and brings to his role many years of experience in designing and coaching training programs that deliver the greatest fitness gains for the individual.
“The community at FearNaught is strong. The amazingly positive and supportive people here are dedicated to making themselves better every day and we help them to achieve this by finding the right balance of variation and intensity in functional movements for each individual.
The training focus we offer is all about improving quality of life. Longevity is our goal. This is not a one-size-fits-all training program and we encourage scaling as a necessary part of the fitness journey for our most talented athletes as well as our beginners. Not only are the fitness rewards of CrossFit hugely beneficial but the camaraderie you’ll find at the daily WOD at FN is like nowhere else. Whenever you visit CrossFit FearNaught you will always have a stress-free, fun, best hour of your day.”

Vikki
A yoga enthusiast, Vikki is also an accomplished CrossFit athlete, most recently competing in Miami at Wodaplaooza and as an Rx+ individual athlete at Strength In Depth. She also enjoys running and cycling events, including the Stockholm marathon and cycling Coast to Coast in Italy.
In addition to being our in-house nutrition coach, Vikki enjoys programming and coaching our gymnastics speciality class and believes that the magic of CrossFit is seen in the attention to detail in the basic skills that form the foundation of a fit and healthy future.
“CrossFit FearNaught brings so much variety to training. Through CrossFit I have met (and continue to meet) so many dedicated and positive individuals that this sport brings together. The kind of people that want to improve their health and lifestyle and want to continue to work on themselves every single day, both in and out of the gym.
More than that, FN provides the one hour of the day where we turn the music up, work out and forget the stresses of life. It’s by far my favourite hour of the day, and sharing that with our team is just the best!”

Sharing knowledge with the members and seeing someone’s improvement – whether it is in lifestyle changes, mindset, fitness or mobility – makes coaching at FN hugely rewarding.

Coach
Glenn
A successful athlete in his younger years, competing for the Welsh and British Karate teams and playing for a number of rugby clubs, Glenn let his fitness slip and when he returned to training in his early 40s it was CrossFit that helped him regain his health.
“At the time I was carrying several stone of extra weight and although I had made some progress with my cardio fitness by running and spin cycling, I was looking for the kind of fitness I had when I was younger – that ability to jump into any kind of physically demanding situation knowing I had the strength and metabolic conditioning to back me up. With work and family commitments, I couldn’t really dedicate more than an hour a day to achieving this. CrossFit ticked all the boxes.
I lost my excess weight by dropping processed food and eating to fuel my training (very much the core of CrossFit nutrition advice) and regained my fitness by following Sam’s training program. Now in my 50s I enjoy endurance running events, often taking part in marathons and ultramarathons alongside other competitors who are a good 20 or 30 years my junior, and compete in Masters CrossFit events. Most importantly, I have invested in a very different future by choosing CrossFit. I thoroughly enjoy helping our members along the same path when coaching at FN.”
